Pennsylvania Water Discharge Data — Searchable and Tracked
Facilities across Pennsylvania report what they discharge into rivers, streams, and waterways under NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permits. We make those public records searchable and show when reported values exceed permit limits — known as exceedances. Subscribe to email digests for specific facilities, counties, or parameters.

How It Works
Facilities with NPDES permits in Pennsylvania are required to self-report discharge monitoring data to PA DEP. When a reported value exceeds the numeric limit in a facility's permit, that's an exceedance. Permit Minder compiles these public records into a searchable database so anyone can find exceedances without digging through state reporting systems.
